Grilled Cheese & Tomato Soup Appetizer


Sourdough bread sliced for sandwiches

Provolone cheese

Basil leaves


On a griddle, grill pan, or panini maker assemble 1 slice of buttered bread (buttered side down) provolone cheese, basil leaves, second slice of buttered bread (buttered side up).  Grill until cheese is melted.  If you don’t have a panini maker, you can place a heavy pan on top of the sandwich and press down.

To assemble your appetizer, place a small amount Creamy Tomato Basil Soup in a Won Ton soup spoon.  Place a square of the grilled cheese sandwich on top and then a slice of basil to garnish.
